Misaki Park

The venerable amusement park has been offering joy and wonder to children for half a century since opening in 1957. Kids will find themselves in dreamland the moment they alight from the Nankai Main Line train at Misaki Koen Station.

The park is chocabloc with fun things to do: Rides include Tidal Wave, with its thrilling 15-meter nose dive, the Jet Coaster that almost brushes past the sea, and Animal Train, popular among younger kids.

Tigers, giraffes and flamingos greet visitors at the zoo area, and dolphins give dynamic performances at the dolphin shows. Other popular features are a petting zoo where children can touch and hold mini pigs, goats and rabbits, and join in photo sessions with the dolphins.

Taking in the view from the Ferris wheel, the replica lighthouse or the cycle monorail in the park is a great way to enjoy the sea, the sky and the trees. On fine days you can see as far as the Akashi Kaikyo Ohashi Bridge and Awaji Island.
