Shirokita Park

The Shirokita Park was inaugurated in the year of 1934. The Second World War from 1939 to 1945 devastated the entire innocence of the park. From the end of the month of May to the middle of June the garden remains closed. The entrance fee of the park varies from the elementary school children to the junior school children.  

The entrance is free of cost for people who are more than 65 years of age and physically handicapped persons. Shirokita Park will find you at 3-29 Ikue Asahi-ku in the heartland of the Kansai area. The tourists can take a city bus from the Shirokita-koen-Mae Bus Station.

You can also avail the railways in line number 34 from JR Osaka Station or Line number 110 from the Miyakojima Station on the Subway of the Tanimachi Line. The Japanese government has requested the visitors to travel in the public transportation as there is no parking space in the Shirokita Park of Osaka. The tourists must carry a map of the city which will provide them an easy guide to take the best transportation available in this region of Kansai. Wondo is a water pool running parallel to the Yodo River. Often the Japanese people dub this part as the back water or the deep pool, home of endangered species of marine animals.

The water pollution in the Japanese inland water bodies has depleted numerous varieties of fishes. The Japanese Government has taken measures to control the productivity of the fisheries to a large extent.
